Past SJBA Educational Assistance/Scholarship Winners The South Jersey Bowling Association has given out $300 cash scholarships to graduating seniors from 1987 to 2006. After chartering with the USBC in May 2006, the SJBA renamed it's former scholarship award as the SJBA Hank Mills Educational Assistance Award. The awards are based on scholastic accomplishments, leadership and citizenship. To be eligible, the applicant must be a high school senior sponsored by a member of the SJBA. To apply for the Hank Mills Educational Assistance Award, download and complete the following form and return it to the Education Committee Chairman (listed below) along with the required transcript and written essay on or before May 15th:
The SJBA Education Committee will be responsible for choosing the recipients each year from those applications submitted by the application deadline. The committee reviews a written essay on "What I would like to accomplish with my future education" submitted by each applicant. The number of scholarships granted each year is determined by the amount of money that is raised. Anyone who would like to contribute to the educational assistance fund in any way - including money; bowling balls, bags or other items or services that can be raffled, etc. - your support would be greatly appreciated. Application submissions, donations or requests for more information, should be sent to the current Education Committee Chairman:
